Station 35 relies on the Charitable support of people like you!
The Victoria Marine Rescue Society is an all-volunteer organization that supports the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Station 35 to save lives and assist boaters in distress on the Victoria, Esquimalt, West Shore and surrounding waters. The Society is also active in the our community promoting boating safety.
The national Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary organization provides some funding for training and search and rescue missions, it does not provide funding for the rescue vessels acquisition, maintenance and all the equipment upon which mariners in the Victoria waterfront area rely.
The rescue equipment, vessels and all associated costs are paid for by the Victoria Marine Rescue Society, which draws on a range of funding sources such as individual donations and support from the municipalities which benefit from a local marine search and rescue service.
